The senator expressed optimism that the increase will be implemented before Christmas.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>“It’s very doable. So, if we have a supportive House of Representatives and Senate, merong pera [there’s money], as early as before Christmas, maibibigay na natin ito sa ating mga pulis [we can give this to our policemen],” the senator said at the sidelines of a PNP event in Davao City.</p><br/><p><em>“</em>Sinubmit na namin ‘to sa pangulo at incoming chief PNP para tingnan ang numbers. He said this amount includes the policeman’s base pay and allowance.
