Now that the Holiday season is here, parties are in full swing, and hitting the KTV might be the perfect idea for people who are in search of a good time. However, while such a session should be pure fun, a case from Singapore gave karaoke a notability contrary to its entertaining nature. A Singaporean model was the recent talk of the town due to her sudden death. Karen Stella Wong was with her peers to set up for their Christmas party in a karaoke bar along Neil Road, Chinatown. But what was supposed to be a blissful party turned out to be a solemn one when the woman suddenly suffered from brain hemorrhage. As she was having fun in the karaoke lounge, the model abruptly felt an agonizing headache and numbness in one side of her body. Soon after, Karen collapsed to the floor, much to the shock of her friends. <img alt="" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4144" height="595" src="https://showbizinsider.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/01/s1.png" width="583"/> She was rushed to the hospital by her peers but to no avail. Karen fell into a coma and died only three days later. According to the doctors, the blood vessel of the car show model burst and caused internal bleeding in her skull, ultimately resulting in her untimely death. For this, her family and friends still couldn’t believe the unfortunate end of their loved one, especially since Karen had a healthy life. On December 20, just five days before Christmas, the 28-year-old’s body was cremated. After Elite News put up on Facebook her unbelievable story, it drew mixed reactions from the netizens. However, most of their reactions still sympathize with the model. Pokwang rants about noisy neighbors singing karaoke

Comedienne Pokwang recently took to Instagram to let out her frustration over her noisy neighbors. According to the actress, her neighbors were singing karaoke until past 12 in the midnight, causing her and her mother to have difficulty sleeping. Currently eight months pregnant, Pokwang claims that she already has trouble sleeping even without the noise,  and her neighbors’ karaoke-ing made it more difficult for her to get some sleep. In her Instagram post, the comedienne explained about how she asked her helper to talk to her neighbors in the hopes that they would turn down the volume of their karaoke machine. The bill seeks to ban karaoke from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. to help reduce noise pollution in residential areas.
