The woman, 32, was holding the severed organ when she arrived at the police station, says a report written by Andrew Sweeney of Naij.com. The report said the woman, who was accompanied by her three children, told officers that she thought it was the only way to stop her brother-in-law identified as Sanju Koul from attacking her. According to Imogen Calderwood of DailyMail, the woman stayed in the same house with Sanju as her husband, Vimlesh Koul, is working several miles away from home. But Sanju allegedly attacked her many times while she stayed in the same house. The woman said she faked consent when he started attacking her and in the mid-rape, she cut off his privates with a sickle. But before the authorities were able to get medical support to the alleged suspect, he had already taken his own life; his body found hanging from a tree near his house. The town inspector Arti Chourate said the suspect probably took own life because of humiliation ; adding that no one from the man’s family knew about the incident that happened around 4:30 early in the morning. She came into the police at 8:30am, wrote The American Bazaar‘s Sreekanth A Nair. He added the woman is mentally stable and does not regret what she did. Kicker Daily News
