The rest po ng nangyari doon, naki-cooperate ako sa kanila. Gusto ko lang po talaga klaruhin, linisin na hindi po totoo ‘yung sinasabi nila.”</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>[They told me they’ll remove my name from the ‘watch list’. Then they asked me to fill-up a form. The rest of what happened there, I cooperated with them. I just wanted to clear my name from the accusations.]</p><br/><p>Siaboc confessed he used drugs in the past but denied he was selling them. He also promised to stop using illegal drugs. He also signed a waiver and agreed to be monitored by the police.</p><br/><p>In an interview with<a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/07/13/16/exclusive-yeng-has-message-for-jay-r-siaboc"> ABS-CBN News</a> on Wednesday, July 13, Constantino was visibly shocked when she was informed about what happened to Siaboc but managed to express her support to the latter’s decision.</p><br/><p>She said:”Una sa lahat, maganda yung desisyon na ginawa niya dahil gusto niya na magbago na ng buhay. Pangalawa, yung realidad lang ng politcal will talaga ni Digong, makikita mo na ganito ang effect na mismong ‘yung mga taong alam nila na may mali silang ginagawa, sila na ‘yung kusang nagsasabi na ayaw na nila nito, ayaw na nilang gumamit ng droga.”</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>[First of all, he did the right thing because he wanted to change for the better. Secondly, we can really see that the political will of President Duterte has this kind of effect. We can see that the people who know they’ve done something wrong a coming out and surrendering themselves because they want to quit using drugs.]</p><br/><p>Constantino is hoping that she can find a way to connect with Siaboc and told him that she’ll back him up with prayers.</p><br/><p>She said: “Tama ‘yung ginawa mong desisyon at kasama mo kami sa likod mo diyan. Gusto mong magbagong buhay, alam namin. (You did the right thing and we’re behind you on this We know that you want to change.) We will back you up with prayers at sana ay magka-connect tayo para magka-usap tayo very soon (and I hope we can connect and talk very soon).”</p><br/><p>Siaboc was the runner-up behind Constantino in the 2006 edition of Pinoy Dream Academy. The two of them released a duet of the “Rivermaya” original song “Himala”. Samuel Mina Jr., Siaboc was one of the 528 drug suspects who showed up at the precinct. He was with his wife and cousin when he turned himself in.</p><br/><p>During tactical interrogation, Siaboc confessed to using drugs but denied he was selling them. Samuel Mina Jr., Siaboc was one of the 528 drug suspects who showed up at the precinct. He was with his wife and cousin when he turned himself in.</p><br/><p>During tactical interrogation, Siaboc confessed to using drugs but denied he was selling them. He said his friends living in Barangay Awihao were the source of illegal drugs in the vicinity.</p><br/><p>“He confessed that he’s been using drugs but not a peddler,” Mina told the <a href="http://cebudailynews.inquirer.net/97701/cebuano-pinoy-dream-academy-runner-up-surrenders-to-police-in-toledo-city">Philippine Daily Inquirer</a>.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>Mina added that Siaboc promised to stop dabbling in illegal drugs and agreed to be monitored by the police.</p><br/><p>PO2 Joselito Genon also told Siaboc he should undergo rehabilitation if he was really bent on changing his ways.</p><br/><p>“Like other surrenderees, Jay-R fears for his life and that he wanted to be changed man. He should undergo rehab,” he said.</p><br/><p>Siaboc was the runner-up behind Yeng Constantino in the 2006 edition of the popular reality talent search contest.
