Marine experts said that the fish might have been initially kept as a pet and then dumped into the pond where it grew too large.</p><br/><p>An article by Kelly-Ann Mills for <a href="http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/bizarre-fish-human-teeth-which-8308947">Mirror Co UK</a> said that city spokeswoman Varvara Trunova confirmed the fish has been confiscated as there are fears that it could have been part of the pair that begun to breed in the pond.</p><br/><p>“The fish has been confiscated from the fisherman and sent for examination. According to the preliminary findings, the pacu fish is 20-centimeters long and weights 240 grams,” she said.</p><br/><p>In Europe, the pacu was first discovered in Denmark in 2013 by Henrik Carl; a fish expert. Carl said he saw a fisherman in South America coming under attack from the fish and reportedly bleeding to death.</p><br/><p><iframe width="620" height="349" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4GdcglUpaCQ?feature=oembed" frame allowfullscreen="">[embedded content]</iframe></p><br/><aside class="mashsb-container mashsb-main"></aside> <center> </center><br/><p><strong><a href="https://blockads.fivefilters.org">Let’s block ads!</a></strong> <a href="https://github.com/fivefilters/block-ads/wiki/There-are-no-acceptable-ads">(Why?)</a></p><br/><p><a href="http://kickerdaily.com/posts/2016/06/strange-fish-with-humanlike-teeth-caught-terrified-anglers/" rel="nofollow">Kicker Daily News</a></p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-bottom" style="display:block;text-align:center;"><ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-3942681860132668" data-ad-slot="4831328630" data-ad-format="auto"></ins><br/></div><br/></div>
