Authorities also failed to arrange one for them, so Majhi decided to carry her on his shoulders and personally bring her back to their village.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"><br/><p>“I requested everyone, but no one listened. What option did I have other than carrying her?” Majhi said.</p><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">While on their way home, locals spotted them, bringing attention to their plight. That sparked the authorities to take action and help the poor family out.
