But it is not only Batman and Superman who will be gracing the big screen when the movie premieres. An unlikely addition is the silent star that threatens to steal the whole show: Wonder Woman to be played by former Miss Israel Gal Gadot. “So I am so happy I’m going to be the one who’s going to tell the Wonder Woman story. It’s such an important story… But I also think it’s so important for girls – and boys – to have a female, strong superhero to look up to,” Gadot was quoted in an ABS-CBN report. She also shared: “I have a four-year-old daughter and she adores princesses. At the same time she would tell me ‘the princess, she’s so weak.’ She falls asleep, the prince will come and save her and kiss her and he’s the hero,” Gadot, as Wonder Woman, will serve as the mediator and the “guiding light” of Batman and Superman who, instead of saving the world, engage in a brawl. She will show them that the real enemy isn’t each other. Gal isn’t new with the type of roles in Hollywood. She has previously starred in high-adrenaline films such as some of the Fast and the Furious franchises. She is also eyed to star in another “Justice League” films set to be shown on 2017 and 2019 respectively. Kicker Daily News
