It can be recalled that both <b>Geisler </b>and <b>Matos </b>agreed to settle their differences inside the ring after being invited by the <b>URCC founder</b>, <b>Alvin Aguilar</b>. The exhibition match happened at the <b>Valkyrie Club in Bonifacio</b> <b>Global City</b>. It was packed of regular fans of the sport and curious onlookers on how the fight would turn out.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">Much to their disappointment, the fight wasn’t as hyped as many anticipated. They were both worn out when round 2 has started. And the results? <b>Unanimous Draw</b>. </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">However, despite the disappointing turnout, some still found it entertaining. They were able to inflict some damage to each other, although not serious ones. On round 1, Matos was able to get ahead Baron and was able to mount while grinding him with punches. But Baron was able to sustain with the punches. In the 2nd round, Geisler seeked to get even and pinned Matos to the cage. But since both of them weren’t professional in the sport, they weren’t able to land decisive blows, ergo the scorecards. </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/> <div style="text-align: justify;">“Nung una eh what I did is to survive the round,” said Geisler referring to the beatdown he had in the first round. “I respect Matos. I think masyado lang akong naging kampante.But my team is proud of me because I only trained for five days.” Geisler said after the fight. He added that if he would be given a chance to fight again, he would train for months. Quoting from his interview, “I just took the challenge. I don’t pick fights and I never back down. I still feel I’m the winner here. I think masyado lang akong naging kampante (I’ve been very complacent). I will give them a good show. <em>Hindi ako aatras. Isang ‘bigwas’ ka lang,</em> Matos [I won’t back down. You’re worth just one punch Matos],” <a href="http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/570764/showbiz/baron-geisler-to-kiko-matos-isang-bigwas-ka-lang">GMA News</a> quoted him as saying.</p><br/><p>Geisler added he is confident about his upcoming match because of his rigid training regimen.</p><br/><p>“But of course, my main goal is to win this fight. Sometimes I train for four to five hours a day. No drinking. I used to smoke three times a day,” he said.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>The actor also ribbed his opponent; saying that his main advantage is he’s a human while Matos is a monkey.</p><br/><p>For his part, a more-reserved Matos said he would focus on the fight itself rather on the results.</p><br/><p><em>“Para sa akin </em>it’s too soon to predict<em>. Ayaw ko maging kampante kung anong </em>round<em>, kung kailan ko siya pababagsakin. Nilalagay ko lang sa isip ko na malakas ang kalaban,”</em> he said.</p><br/><p>[For me it’s too soon to predict. Both accused each of starting the fight.</p><br/><p>They will settle their differences inside the cage on June 25. The fight will take place under pro-am MMA rules; meaning there will be no elbow or knee strikes to the head. According to some who claimed to have witnessed the incident, Geisler was punched because of his unruly behavior inside the bar.</p><br/><p>However, Geisler denied he was making trouble and said he was merely escorting a woman down the stairs when he was suddenly punched from behind as he was making his way outside.</p><br/><p>“I just went out and I just told this girl, ‘You know you’re so beautiful, I’ll help you go down the stairs, you’re so beautiful, <em>ganito</em>, <em>ganyan</em>, [this and that],” <a href="http://www.rappler.com/entertainment/news/136360-baron-geisler-kiko-matos-mma-match-viral-video">Rappler </a>quoted him as saying.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p><em>Tapos biglang naglalakad na ako pabalik ng hotel, biglang sinuntok na lang ako patalikod</em> [Then I was just walking back to my hotel when I was suddenly punched from behind],” Geisler added.</p><br/><p>According to the actor, anyone would be angry with being struck with a cheap shot. Afterwards, he then dons his jacket and walks away.</p><br/><p>According to Travis however, this incident may not be entirely Geisler’s fault. In the comments section, he said someone suddenly punched the actor without warning. When he asked the assailant why he did that, the latter answered it was because Geisler was making trouble inside the bar.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>A commenter who said he was there when the incident occurred corroborated Travis’ claim about the sudden attack on Geisler. According to him, the actor was suddenly struck by the assailant who then ran off. However, he did not comment on whether Geisler was being unruly inside the bar.</p><br/><p>Geisler is set to fight Matos in a URCC mixed-martial arts match after the two figured in their own brawl inside a bar last May 26. Both parties denied instigating the fight.</p><br/><p>More than a week earlier, Geisler also drew the spotlight after he was recorded choking a member of a student production crew for giving him his script late. Hindi ako umuurong</em>. [For me back in the day, you would only get into a fight with me if you were the one at fault. I didn’t look for trouble but I accept some head-smashing. I didn’t back down],” Regala told the <a href="http://www.pep.ph/news/63258/john-regala-to-baron-geisler-huwag-mo-akong-gayahin">Philippine Entertainment Portal</a>.</p><br/><p>However, the older actor admitted that he also fell to some vices of his own and so reminded Geisler, who has faced controversy for cases of harassment and violence when intoxicated, to move on from such vices.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>Regala’s career went on a hiatus due to his heavy drug abuse. He has since gotten himself to rehab and is now sober.</p><br/><p>“<em>Napagdaanan din natin ang mga bisyong ganyan. Pero sabi ko nga, ang bisyo, pinagdadaanan lang ‘yan, hindi tinatambayan. Kumbaga, kung nakikita mo na nakakasama na sa ‘yo, nakakasama na sa pamilya mo, nakakasama na sa pagkatao mo, iwan mo na ‘yan bago mahuli ang lahat.</em> [We also passed through those kinds of vices. But like I said, vices are just there to be passed by, and not to be stuck in. In other words, if you see that it is doing harm to you, your family, and your life, leave it before it would be too late],” he said.</p><br/><p>Regala, however, is hopeful that all would turn out well for the younger actor.</p><br/><p>“<em>Bilang anak, Baron, huwag mong masamain ang aking payo, anak. Laging nasa sa ‘yo ang tsansa para magbago. Patunayan mo sa sarili mo na mali sila sa iniisip nila. Malayo pa ang mararating mo.</em> [As my son, Baron, please don’t think wrongly about my advice, son.
