His background includes engineering project management for construction of nuclear power stations. The efficiency of models he has built, which have also been independently built and tested, is as high as 250%.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">In November 2014, I made one of many visits to the laboratory of Paramahamsa Tewari. I had seen the basis for the RLG design in September of 2010. <b>Mr. Tewari </b>showed me a stiff conductor about a foot long which was allowed to rotate at the center and connected at each end with small gauge wire. A magnetic circuit was placed under the conductor. When a current was allowed to flow through the conductor it rotated, due to a torque induced on the conductor according to Flemings Left Hand Rule and standard theory, verified by experiments at the dawn of the electrical age. With a simple rearrangement of the magnetic circuit, the same current produced no rotation – the torque was cancelled. I later duplicated the setup and experiment on my workbench. The design uses the same types of materials used in current generators, but the magnetic circuit within the machine is configured to cancel back torque while inducing current and producing power. This might be compared to the rearrangement of materials by the Wright Brothers to build a surface with lift that resulted in manned flight in a time when many, including scientists, said it was impossible. Indeed, physicists who cling to an outdated model of the properties and structure of space have declared what has been done by <b>Tewari </b>to be impossible.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">During the November testing I witnessed two tests of efficiency on the new model in Tewari’s lab. The second test was several percent better than the first and produced 6.6 KVA with an efficiency of 238%. A second set of stator coils was not connected yet but is expected to increase output to 300%. This is a 3 phase, 248 volt Hz, AC synchronous generator operating at 50 Hz. State of the art, true RMS meters on the input and output that measured KW, KVA, and power factor confirmed the readings of meters we had supplied for tests I observed in April of 2014.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">We were able to visit a 130-acre factory site of one of the top electrical machinery manufacturing companies in India. At this site the company manufactures rotating electrical machines, including generators. When the chief electrical engineer first saw the drawings and design of the RLG he knew immediately what it meant for efficiency! Because of their confidence in the design, and the results of the tests on the smaller model, the company has assembled a self-excited machine designed to produce 20 KVA.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">When we arrived at the factory a vice president of the company, the factory general manager, and the chief engineer greeted us. We then inspected the new machine and met the engineering design team assigned to this project. They are electrical and mechanical engineers who design and build conventional generators with output as high as 500 KVA. They are very enthusiastic and understand the breakthrough. The elimination of back torque allows all the energy generated to pass through the machine. Power output is determined by the strength of the excitation magnets and the synchronous reactance (resistance at 50/60 Hz) of the stator windings. Current models can be cascaded for higher output. Each machine can produce at least 2.38 times the input and can be configured in a self-running mode. Among the students from different nationalities include Indonesians, Thais, Nepalis, Angolans, and Nigerians, but the number of students enrolled from India is staggering.</p><br/><p>At the start of 2016 academic school year, at least 730 Indian nationals are enrolled in the school. Classifications of the Indian students enrolled for the different courses were College of Medicine (405 students), College of Arts and Sciences (110 students) and Community Health Management program of the College of Health Sciences (215 students).</p><br/><p>The university disclosed that yearly, over a hundred students are taking pre-medicine courses like Psychology and Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences.</p><br/><p>Bryan Realgo mentioned in his article for <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/life/08/10/16/why-vigan-university-attracts-foreign-students">ABS-CBN News</a> that one of the main reasons for choosing the university among Indians is the good performance of its graduates in the Ministry of India Medical Board Examination.</p><br/><p>Back in 2013, a graduate of the University of Northern Philippines topped the board examination. Moreover, KFC customers in India are also urged to participate in an online contest on KFC India’s Facebook page and win more of these limited edition boxes.</p><br/><p>“We launched the 5-in-1 Meal Box in March this year with the objective of providing an abundant complete meal and at an affordable price for our customers. Khan said they believe they have already pinpointed the guilty lion, but still waiting for the results of nine more animals just to make sure.</p><br/><p>Once the “guilty animal” is identified, the lion will be transferred to a zoo while the others will be released back into the wild.</p><br/><p>As humans have started settling in the lion’s natural habitat, the endangered species seem to make more contact with humans in the recent years. Those contact generally don’t end well, as either of both sides end up being murdered.</p><br/><p>According to records, there are only around 400 Asiatic lions left in the wild. I had faith in Almighty, and knew I will bear my child one day,” Kaur told the <a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/amritsar/72-year-old-Punjab-woman-becomes-a-mother/articleshow/52214032.cms">Times of India</a>.</p><br/><p>Kaur claims she is 70 years old but hospital officials said she is 72. It is a common occurrence in many parts of India, especially among the older generations, for people not to know their exact age due to not having their own birth certificates.</p><br/><p>The couple had almost given up hope in conceiving after trying for more than 46 years in their marriage and two failed attempts, but when they saw an advertisement for IVF treatment, they both decided to give it a try.</p><br/><div class="easy-ads"><div class="easy-ads-lite easy-ads-lite-bidvertiser-middle"><br/><br/></div><br/></div><br/><p>“When we saw the advert [for IVF treatment], we thought we should also give it a try as I badly wanted to have a baby of my own,” she recalls.</p><br/><p>The couple is elated over finally having a child to call their own — a healthy baby boy whom they named Armaan, which means “wish or desire.”</p><br/><p>Kaur successfully delivered the baby, who weighed around two kilograms at birth.</p><br/><p>Despite their old age, the new parents are keen on raising their baby boy.</p><br/><p>“People say what will happen to the child once we die. But I have full faith in God. God is omnipotent and omnipresent, he will take care of everything,” said Kaur’s husband Mohinder Singh Gill. Hope is fading for survivors as India flyover toll hits 25

<div class="copy-paste-block"><br/><div id="post-406877" class="post-406877 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-latest_news category-world tag-hope-fades-for-indian-survivors tag-india tag-india-flyover-accident tag-india-flyover-toll-hits-25 tag-manila-bulletin tag-news-today entry single-default"><br/><div><br/><ul><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Death toll on the collapsed flyover in India rises to 25</strong></li><br/><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Authorities say there is little hope of finding any more survivors</strong></li><br/><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Almost 300 rescuers including army and disaster management personnel were sent to work in the rescue operation</strong></li><br/></ul><p style="text-align: justify;">KOLKATA, India – The number of fatalities caused by the collapsed flyover in India has risen to 25 on Friday following the conduct of rescue operations through the night to search for more survivors.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Deputy police commissioner Akhilesh Chaturvedi who announced the number of death toll said the rescue operation will not stop until all the blocks of concrete and iron girders have been cleared.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">In a report from the <a href="http://www.mb.com.ph/hope-fades-for-survivors-as-india-flyover-toll-hits-25/">Manila Bulletin</a> published on March 31, it said that almost 300 rescuers including army and disaster management personnel have been deployed to work on the rescue operation.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), however, said there was little hope of finding any more survivors under the rubble of the flyover, which had been under construction since 2009.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">However, emergency authorities revealed that there is little hope left to find survivors after rescuing nearly a hundred people from under the rubble of the road that collapsed on a street in Kolkata on Thursday which destroyed cars and hurt pedestrians.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The cause of the sudden collapse is not yet clear; however, the police said it has registered a preliminary case against the contractor.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The state government, which is seeking re-election in a vote which will start on Monday, has assured to take action against those found responsible.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Hospital manager Sitaram Agarwal said most victims were treated for head and leg injuries.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The authorities said they initially struggled to get cranes and other large machinery through the narrow streets of Burrabazar; one of the oldest and most congested parts of the city.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">A victim said he had been working on the structure before it collapsed and had seen bolts come out of the metal girders.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Milan Sheikh, the injured worker, said the bolts started coming out this morning and then the flyover came crashing down.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The disaster is the latest in a string of deadly construction accidents in India where enforcement of safety rules is weak and substandard materials are often used.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The flyover which is two kilometers long started construction in 2009 and was set for completion in 18 months. <ul><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>US is planning to hold military exercises with Japan and India in the coming months</strong></li><br/><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The naval drill will be held off the coast of northern Luzon in the West Philippine Sea</strong></li><br/><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>China says it is hoping the planned joint exercises will benefit concerned nations</strong></li><br/></ul><p style="text-align: justify;">MANILA, Philippines – The United States is planning to hold joint naval exercises with Japan in India in the West Philippine Sea, a US military official told <em><strong><a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/india-usa-military-exercise-idUSKCN0W41UH">Reuters</a></strong></em> on Wednesday.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The planned drill will be held off the coast of northern Luzon near the disputed islands where Chinese facilities has been constructed on man-made features.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Admiral Harry Harris, commander of the Asia-Pacific Fleet, told reporters during a security conference in New Delhi that freedom of the seas remains a fundamental rights of every nation regardless of size or military power.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Last year, US and Japan conducted a joint military operations off the Bay of Bengal. This year, Japan will most likely participate as tension continue to rise in the contested waterways where China, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Philippinesd have overlapping claims.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Harris also praised India for its peaceful initiative to resolve a similar border disputes with neighboring countries.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">“While some countries seek to bully smaller nations through intimidation and coercion, I note with admiration India’s example of peaceful resolution of disputes with your neighbours in the waters of the Indian Ocean,” Harris said.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The latest announcement from Washingto came after Defense Secretary Ash Carter warned China of ‘specific consequences’ if the latter continues to pursue militarization of its controlled islands in South China Sea.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">On Wednesday, March 3,  it has been reported that the US Navy sent an armada consisting of a nuclear-powered supercarriers, two cruisers, two destroyers and a Japan-based command ship to the South China Sea to confront China in what observers said is Washington’s latest ‘show of force’.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Sought for comment about the planned three-nation naval drill, a Chinese official said Beijing hoped that the activity will be beneficial not only to the US, Japan and India, but to other concerned nations in Asia-Pacific as well,</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">“We hope the cooperation of relevant countries will benefit regional peace and security, and not harm the interests of third parties,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei told Reuters.</p><br/><p><a href="http://kickerdaily.com/us-plans-naval-drill-with-india-japan-in-west-ph-sea/" rel="nofollow">Kicker Daily News</a></p>

<ul><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The United States and India are planning to hold joint naval operations in the West Philippine Sea/South China Sea</strong></li><br/><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The move is likely to anger China, India’s economic rival in Asia</strong></li><br/><li style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Both countries have expressed support to freedom of navigation in international waters</strong></li><br/></ul><p style="text-align: justify;">In what could be seen as the biggest challenge yet to China’s claim of absolute sovereignty over disputed waters, the United States and India is seriously considering plan to hold a joint maritime patrol in the West Philippines Sea/ South China Sea.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">A US Defense official told <em><strong><a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/us-southchinasea-india-usa-idUSKCN0VJ0AA">Reuters</a></strong></em> that both countries have held talks about conducting naval operations together which will likely take place within a year.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">While it is expected that such patrols will concentrate mainly in the Indian Ocean, there is a big possibility that the South China Sea will be included in the plan as part of India’s goal to play a major role in Asia’s balance of power.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">US and India have no claim in the contested waterways, but both countries have expressed support to a united stand among Asian nations in maintaining the freedom of navigation and overflight on what is generally considered as part of international waters.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The plan is expected to further incense China whose claim is being contested by its smaller neighbors; foremost of which are Vietnam and the Philippines.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">India’s position to support US in its diplomatic skirmishes with China over territorial conflict in Asia-Pacific was made clear during President Barack Obama’s visit to the country in January.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">A source from the Indian government told Reuters the subject was also raised when Indian Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar visited the U.S. Pacific Command in Hawaii in December.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">“It was a broad discussion, it was about the potential for joint patrols,” Reuters quoted the source as saying.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">India has been in a long-running territorial land border dispute with China but remains cautious on antagonizing its more powerful regional rival and neighbor.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Aside from India, the Philippines is also seeking to hold joint maritime patrol with US in the West Philippine Sea; a scenario that has a much bigger chance of pushing through, according to the US official.</p><br/><p><a href="http://kickerdaily.com/us-india-planning-to-hold-joint-naval-patrol-west-ph-sea/" rel="nofollow">Kicker Daily News</a></p>
