He is currently facing three libel cases filed by a group of INC members. The latest complainant is identified in an <a href="http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/764245/after-3-libel-suits-lowell-menorca-slapped-with-adultery-raps">Inquirer</a> report as Davis C. Flores, also an INC member, who accused Menorca of carrying an illicit affair with his wife, Aedtnavye Juntilla “AJ” Lazo since 2008. The complaint affidavit was filed before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office on Thursday, February 12. Flores’s lawyer Kristoffer Purisima told Inquirer his client have been suspicious of his wife numerous times in the past but only confirmed later after the woman allegedly confessed to the adulterous affair. The complainant also supposedly saw some photos on social media showing Menorca and Lazo together. “This is as much a story about betrayal as much as unlawful actions because the respondent Menorca knows that the woman is married to my client,” the lawyer said. Rising suspicion Flores also cited in the complaint sheet previous incidents that contributed to his increasing suspicion of his wife’s affair with Menorca. These include an instance when Menorca purportedly arranged the delivery of expensive foods to their house; and another when his wife came home with expensive gifts including a stuff toy and a ‘high-end’ cellphone. The complainant further claimed he read the exchange of text messages between Menorca and Lazo; further strengthening his suspicion. “During that time and through the years, there were also numerous instances when I would see in our bathroom lots of bath soaps, shampoos, and other toiletries from Manila Diamond Hotel, Bayview Park Hotel, and Sogo Hotel; all located in the City of Manila and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Office,” the affidavit read. Documented in a secret blog Flores also claimed the relationship between the two continued until 2015 which he eventually discovered in a secret <a href="http://downerofajsheart.blogspot.com/">blog </a> ‘D_OWNER_OF_AJS_HEART<a href="http://downerofajsheart.blogspot.com./">’</a>  allegedly maintained by Menorca where he supposedly documented their illicit affair. The accuser finally confronted his wife in September last year; during which Lazo was forced to admit about her trysts with the former INC minister. “She tried to be evasive at first but later succumbed to the avalanche of the body of evidence, which, when pieced together, conclusively proves a forbidden affair,” the affidavit continued. But instead of asking for forgiveness, the woman left their home and  stayed in an apartment he believes to be owned or rented by Menorca.
