Three strangers who were in the same store found her too grief-stricken and did their best to assist and comfort her. Deborah Greene wrote a touching letter for the three strangers who tried to calm her down after she received a call from her brother about their dad’s sudden demise. According to Nicola Oakley <a href="http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/real-life-stories/woman-pens-emotional-letter-strangers-7540055">Mirror</a>, Greene was in a store in Georgia, USA, April 20 of last year, when she was told that their father took his own life. “It was unusual to hear from my brother in the middle of a weekday morning, while he was at work. I could tell by the tone of his voice immediately that something was not right,” she shared. Then the bad news came. Greene started to cry and scream — until three men went to her; trying to help. “You didn’t even know one another, but it didn’t seem to matter. You encountered me, a stranger, in the worst moment of my life and you coalesced around me with the common purpose, to help,” she said. Dear Strangers   Using her blog, Greene found an opportunity to share how three unexpected persons comforted her when she needed it the most. She also used her words to expressed how grateful she is for the heaven-sent strangers. The blog is entitled “Dear Strangers” and narrates in detail how that moment at the store ripped her heart apart after she learned of their father’s decision to end his life. She tells of how strangers gave her the compassion she needed at the time and that after some time of healing, she felt compelled to open up and express her gratitude. In part, her blog goes… “And as we hung up the phone, I started to cry and scream, as my whole body trembled. This just couldn’t be true. It couldn’t be happening. Only moments before I was filling my cart with groceries, going about my errands on a normal Monday morning. Only moments before my life felt intact. Overwhelmed with emotions, I fell to the floor, my knees buckling under the weight of what I had just learned.
