Grace Poe continues to serve the nation despite loss in the Presidency position. As the chair of the senate committee on public service, she stated that it is high time for President Rodrigo Duterte to be given emergency powers to solve the worsening traffic problems. This was her opening statement during the hearing of the committee last Wednesday. She sympathized with the commuters and motorists as their everyday struggle in the roads become unbearable.

Quoting from her statement, she said “Extraordinary problems require extraordinary solutions….We must be open to innovative solutions and be ready to think outside the box,” She pertains to emergency powers which was earlier asked by the President himself from the congress.

“We don’t need statistics to prove how traffic has gone from bad to worse in Mega Manila and other parts of the country. Cars move at glacial phase. People, including children, now wake up before dawn to catch an MRT train that can still accommodate passengers only to realize that the time to queue for a ticket is now longer than the train ride itself,” Poe said.

But Poe clarified that the grant should be “clear, specific, and time-bound.”

“Though we are open to innovation we must also be responsible with our actions. Giving the president emergency powers necessarily raises concerns about concentration of powers to one person as these could easily be abused. His invention, which is said to have the potential to reduce the cost of gasoline in the Philppines is powered by water.

Aptly named the ‘Dazo Water Fuel Hydrogen or the Tubig na Gasolina, Dazo’s contraption can power vehicles of all kinds like motorcycles, trucks and cars. The possibility of the invention is almost endless and is said to may eventually replace diesel or gasoline as the main fuel for gas combustion engines.

Dazo, who has a degree in engineering and computer science from Southern Nevada College explain on a video that his invention would be beneficial to the Philippines since tricycles and jeepneys are the most popular type of public transportation.

“With 3 times the power as standard petrol or diesel, and this, in turn, helps to fully ignite and burn the standard fuel going into the engine,” says Dazo. The water gasoline burns quickly, thus it is cleaner and has more power.

Around the world, there have been several inventions that claim to have successfully run engines using water. In the Philippines, similar claims of being able to build water-fuled engines are not new as well. According to Wikipedia, at least one other Filipino, Daniel Dingel, have also accomplished this feat. He is said to have developed the technology as far back as 1969. In 2000, Dingel entered into a business partnership with Formosa Plastics Group to further develop the technology. In 2008, however, Formosa Plastics successfully sued Dingel for fraud, with the 82-year-old Dingel being sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.

Watch this video, watch this video showing a Jeepney claiming to be powered by Dazo’s invention:

[embedded content]

[embedded content]

Share this:

Let’s block ads! (Why?)

Kicker Daily News

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-3942681860132668" data-ad-slot="4831328630" data-ad-format="auto"></ins>
