They ought to provide protection and security to make you feel like you are never alone. This one father, however, may have been the opposite of all of those as he abandoned his <b>five-year-old daughter</b> <b>in a university campus</b> in a nearly <b>3.8 degrees freezing temperature</b>, leaving her with nothing but a blanket!</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">The incident was even caught on a <b>CCTV camera</b> from the <b>Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College</b>, the campus where the poor little girl was abandoned starting from around 5am in the morning. He left and did not return. </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">The girl’s mother shared that the father was telling his daughter: “[He] told her to shut up, and lay down and go to sleep,”</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">She stayed there until she was found by a campus security at around 7:30am in the morning. </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">“She said she got scared,” </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">“She was yelling, ‘Daddy’ but no one was there. She said she just had her blanket and waited until daylight.” shared the girl’s mother. She also shared that her daughter was staying with her ex-husband and his family. </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">The girl was traumatized with what happened. She was desperately running when she saw the security guard, but fell and grazed her knee. She was crying the whole time.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">“It was heartbreaking for [the security guard]. To see a little girl running alone by herself. That’s when he got very concerned, and she was shivering and cold,”  said Fred Fraizer, the security manager. </div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile, <b>Ogden Police</b> suspects that the father may have been under the influence of illegal drugs.
