I am so sorry because the things that I have done never crossed my mind.”</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">I hope the public would not be cruel and insult my wife, kids and family.”</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">That was a passage taken out of a suicide letter posted on <b>Facebook </b>by a man convicted of selling illegal ‘cheap cigarettes’.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"><b>Malaysian Mr</b>. <b>Shukri </b>(last name omitted) revealed in his <b>Facebook </b>post that he was summoned to appear in court for selling the cigarettes, an offense which could send him to jail. A small village sundry shop doesn’t make large profits at all. (My) margins are already cut thin after the implementation of GST. It is true that our ruling government is evil.” He said.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">“Today I have decided not to show up to the court because I am out of money. There is so much burden for me to bear. And I am not willing to go to jail. With this I chose to be martyred as a citizen that was wronged (by the government). I will end my life, because I have dreamed many times of drowning in the ocean.” He lamented.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">Seeing no other alternative, Mr. Shukri took his own life by apparently jumping off the Penang Bridge.</div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><br/><div style="text-align: justify;">Motorists on the bridge noticed a Modenas 120cc motorbike parked to the side. Surprisingly, he received a note from the anonymous sender. It read:</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Dear Reilly Flaherty,</em></p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>I found your wallet and your drivers license and your address so here’s your credit cards and other important stuff. Robredo’s second-eldest daughter with the late Interior Seretary Jesse Robredo, shared a copy of the note on <em><strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BBrqsZiJJslA7BiIiBrEXmq-PK1p_ICDMZrNjQ0/">Instagram</a></strong></em>. It read:</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Hi Tricia, </em></p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>I didn’t want to disturb you as I could see you’re studying – but just want to say I and my entire family are voting for your mom!</em></p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Campaigning in our own small way, too!</em></p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Tricia said she was studying at a coffee shop for an exam on Friday morning when a kind lady handed her the note on her way out.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">“I’ve been feeling guilty all week, knowing that I couldn’t do a lot in the campaign now that I’m back in school,” Robredo’s daughter wrote on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BBrqsZiJJslA7BiIiBrEXmq-PK1p_ICDMZrNjQ0/">Instagram</a>.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">She added: “But this gesture really melted my heart and I take a bit of comfort in knowing that we’ve been blessed with warriors, like Miss Mona right here, who are fighting this fight with us.”</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">The same note was also shared on Leni Robredo’s official <em><strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/LeniRobredoPH/?fref=ts">Facebook</a></strong></em> page; earning over 15,000 likes and nearly 800 shares as of posting.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Rep. Leni Robredo is running for vice president alongside administration and Liberal Party (LP) bet Mar Roxas. Her survey showing has improved signifcantly since September last year where she was virtually left out by respondents who prefer Chiz Escudero, Bongbong Marcos and Alan Peter Cayetano back then.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">She placed third in the latest Pulse Asia survey with 18 percent; although she is still considered statistically tied with fourth-placer Senator Alan Peter Cayetano who got 14 percent.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Robredo and rival Escudero is expected to polarize Bicolano voters over choice for vice president in the May election; with the two frontrunners splitting majority of the voters between them.</p><br/><p style="text-align: justify;">Two other VP hopefuls – Senator Gregorio ‘Gringo’ Honasan who hails from Sorsogon and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV who comes from Albay province – are tracing their root to Bicolandia; one of the country’s vote-rich regions.</p><br/><p><a href="http://kickerdaily.com/tricia-robredo-gets-touching-note-from-moms-supporter/" rel="nofollow">Kicker Daily News</a></p>
