Comedian-TV host Vice Ganda is one of the celebrities known for having a big heart for others, especially the less fortunate ones. That’s why the celebrity spoiled his newfound BFF, ‘Gigil Kid’ Carlo Mendoza, by taking him on a grand shopping spree for toys.
Amidst the expensive toys and thingamajigs, the young Internet sensation admitted that there is still one thing left on his wish list – and that is to have their own house.
“Ang gusto ko po magkaroon na kami ng bahay,” Carlo unabashedly quipped during an interview with ABS-CBN.
The young kid also shared how the comedian took care of him as his showbiz BFF. “Lagi po siya yumayakap sa akin at mabait siya. Lagi din niya akong ibinibili ng mga laruan,” Carlo said.
However, it looks like Carlo’s grand wish has to take a backseat for the meantime. Upon learning of his house and lot wish, Vice Ganda laughingly replied, “Ang dami ko na ngang regalo sa kanya. Inubos niya na nga pera ko eh!”
The unlikely friendship between the two began when Vice Ganda invited the kid as guest to his late night talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice.” According to the TNP report, the comedian was impressed with Carlo, even offering to sponsor his education.
Carlo first shot to fame when a video of him getting all fired up after his older sister was reportedly hit by a relative. He went on to rant about children’s rights, showing much love towards his family as well.
Nowadays, Carlo is busy promoting the MMFF 2017 superhero flick, Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad, wherein he had a few scenes with Vice Ganda.
In fact, their comical tandem was such a hit to audiences, as the movie continues to earn big bucks in the tills. According to an ABS-CBN report, the pair gets a round of applause during their scenes together.
“Manood kayo ng ‘The Revenger Squad’ maganda ito. Sasakit ang tiyan niyo po dito,” Carlo said, inviting everyone to watch him on the big screen.
Who knows, with everything that has been going on for ‘Gigil Kid’ Carlo, he may be able to buy his own house and lot in the future without asking for ‘Mama’ Vice’s help!
