The fashion industry grieves today after losing a beacon of the local fashion scene.
56-year-old Pepsi Herrera has reportedly just passed away this morning February 10 due to cardiac arrest, according to Preview.
Pepsi has been in the industry for several years among the top celebrity designers in local fashion. He had been dressing celebrities such as Kris Aquino, Regine Velasquez, Kim Chui, Janella Salvador, Nadine Lustre, Kathryn Bernardo, Coleen Garcia, Juia Montes, even Alden Richards, Xian Lim and many more known celebrities today.
The loss of the great talent of the fashion industry can be felt even in social media as celebrities express their sympathies over the loss.
"I still cant believe it... im shocked... RIP Pepsi Herrera... love you always... ?? always...," said Kim Chui on her Instagram post.
Aside from Kim, many other celebrities also voiced out their grievances upon hearing the news.
Pepsi's business partner in Adorate Weddings Edwin Tan also made a request for him today.
"If I make a request, kindly say a little prayer for Pepsi. Let us all make him feel loved."
The remains of Pepsi was cremated today sometime in the afternoon according to ABS-CBN. His remains will be laid in his resting peace at 10 in the morning on Sunday at the Heritage Memorial Park Taguig Chapel 9.
Furthermore, the viewing of his urn will begin tonight at 7 pm and will continue on Saturday for the whole day.
