Diego Loyzaga had an outburst towards his dad, Cesar Montano, on social media. Diego called his father a liar and a hypocrite, and slammed Cesar for rejecting him when he was young.
The 21-year-old actor posted a series Instagram photos with negative captions.
"Sa lahat ng nakakabasa nito, iisipin niyo siguro wala akong respeto kasi ama ko iyan. Pero sana tandaan niyo na mula ng pinanganak ako ng nanay ko eh dineny na ako niyan hanggang ngayon! Kaya siguro puwede ako magsalita ng ganito," he wrote.
Loyzaga is Montano's son with former actress Teresa Loyzaga. He was raised in Australia by his mother but returned to the Philippines in 2011 where he started his showbiz career.
Prior to his son's attacks, Montano responded through a published article of columnist Shirley Pizarro of the Manila Bulletin last Saturday.
The veteran action star admitted that he is disappointed by his son's remarks.
"I am hurt," he was quoted to have said. "But all I did was try and protect him like any father would. He has a problem. There is nothing I want more than to be able to help him. I only want what’s best for him. He is my son. I love him."
Montano also mentioned to Dolly Anne Carvajal of the Philippine Daily Inquirer that Diego's outbursts may have been triggered by a recent misunderstanding.
Diego claims that Montano denies being his father until now and that his dad continuously accused him of being a drug addict despite negative results on tests.
