After months of silence regarding her alleged affair with driver and bodyguard Ronnie Dayan, Senator Leila De Lima finally spoke and came clean.
During an exclusive interview with Winnie Monsod on her show “Bawal ang Pasaway kay Mareng Winnie”, De Lima finally admitted having a relationship with Dayan although described it as a moment of “frailties of a woman.”
Although when asked about the length of relationship, the Senator refused to give a specific answer and cryptically said “a few years.”
She admitted to helping the driver in terms of finances. However, the Senator denied financing the construction of Dayan’s home.
Furthermore, De Lima also denied the past allegations about Dayan being her collector of drug money in the New Bilibid Prison.
