Katherine “Kat” De Castro, the undersecretary of Tourism Advocacy and Public Affairs, expressed her unending support for President Duterte on her Facebook account.
Upon opening her Facebook account, De Castro, the daughter of former vice president said that there were many people messaging her, urging her to continue defending President Duterte.
“I read 4 similar messages from different people, asking na “huwag akong bibitiw kay Tatay Digong.” De Castro said.
De Castro also added, “I don’t know where they got that idea but trust me, I will ALWAYS be here for the President. Through good and bad times… ALWAYS.”
President Duterte is under a lot of public scrutiny both locally and abroad for his brash personality and his bloody war on drugs.
Despite these criticisms levelled against the President, De Castro is still persistent in supporting him.
