Former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, supports late-president Ferdinand Marcos’ burial at Libingan ng mga Bayani. For Enrile, Marcos deserves to be buried together with the late heroes of our country.
“He was given a medal, and it’s not a fake medal,” Enrile pointed out. “Boni Gillego has fake medals, but all of the medals that Marcos’ received are not. One medal is enough to for you to be buried in that piece of land”
Enrile continued the discussion by unveiling the fact that there is no law that restricts Marcos’ remains to be buried at Libingan. The former senator also expressed his confusion with the issues that has been popping around the moment they announced Marco’s burial. According to Enrile, there are no excuses for his body to be not buried at Libingan.
