Senator Leila De Lima can’t seem to get any rest from netizens and other personalities as another celebrity host has slammed her in Facebook. The said host shared how De Lima turned a blind eye from her when she asked for help. She admitted that she was a rape victim and even wrote a letter to De Lima a year ago. However, De Lima allegedly ignored her plea and just dismissed the case.
According to Alano, her rapist is a known public figure but he didn’t drop his name. The incident inspired her to encourage rape victims, prompting her to have a talk in TedX entitled “Is Rape Culture the New Social Cancer?”
Following De Lima’s recent statement on women and rape, Alano wasn’t able to hold her sentiments against the former Secretary of Justice, and attacked her, saying:
Meanwhile, Alano also revealed that she didn’t file any charges.
