Marriage does not only connect the newly-wed couple. Their families are also expected to share a connection with one another.
Sometimes the process of building bonds in between is rough, making it hard for the both parties to reach out. Some people need longer periods of time to see what is there to be appreciated. However, it is always not too late for everybody.
Scott Mann probably realized some of these few things when his 30-year old wife was diagnosed with leukemia. All the help he needs to take care of her came from his mother-in-law. Mann did not expect that he will be able to form a strong bond with his mother-in-law when he met her for the first time. However, when life went rough for their family, he came to realize something, and he shared this through a letter.
His letter came together with a picture of his physically exhausted mother-in-law who was always there to give him a hand.
