The intensity of Duterte's war on drugs has been at its fullest since day 1. More than half a million already surrendered to the authorities as drug users. But it cannot denied that the number of drug-related deaths have also increased significantly, getting the attention of human rights advocates and some personalities.
One of them is the actor Baron Geisler who earlier expressed his opposition to the administration's war against drugs. Geisler posted a video on his Facebook page, captioned with "Fight against drugs is a myth. It's been part of our economy and other great nations for centuries. This took the internet by storm and angered many Duterte supporters. Netizen Herald Ponteras Laporre uploaded the video insulting Baron and saying that marijuana may have gotten into his brain. It immediately went viral and was lauded by many Duterte Supporters!
