The “Balsa Basa” of San Jose Elementary School in Donsol, Sorsogon has once again accelerated. Their intention and purpose is to encourage students to read and, of course, love doing it.
They even help distant and very far away schools that need a reading intervention. While, the teacher in charge of the whole innovative idea, “Balsa Basa,” that they always do on Saturdays is Ryan Homan.
For a generation leading in technologies, devices and whatnot, it’s really inspiring for them to motivate students to love reading. After all, though other may read online, we can observe that most use their gadgets for games or social medias.
Although “Balsa Basa” may not instantly engage students to read, but if they continue to sustain their goal and stand relentless then they just might succeed.
