An attack happened to the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul which resulted to the having several people pass away. The flight of the Kapamilya Host Amy Perez had to land on a different airport due to the attack of the suicide bombers.
Amy came from an event in Madrid called ‘Kuwentuhang Kapamilya’ whereas she was shocked after discovering that the airport that they were supposed to land was bombed.
“Napaupo lang ako at nagpasalamat ako sa Diyos na walang nangyari sa amin,” said Perez in an interview that she had with Umangang Kay Ganda.
Amy was on board Flight TK 1860. They landed safely in Izmir airport because of the incident.
On the instagram post of Amy Perez she wrote, “Our flight from Madrid was diverted to IZMIR Airport because of the blast in Istanbul. Still inside the plane for almost 1hr na and its 2am pls pray na may makiha kaming flight agad back to Manila.”
