YUNNAN, China – A goat born without hind legs had been inspiring everyone as the animal triumph over adversity by its determination and reached the sixth month just walking on its forelegs.
Kirstie McCrum mentioned in her article for The Mirror published on May 16 that the young goat was born last December without both of its hind legs and most of the rear part of his body, that its owners started doubting whether it will survive or not.
However, the young animal proved everyone wrong as it overcame disability and has become a strong walker on two feet instead of four.
The unidentified farmer who witnessed the birth of the animal six months ago said the goat’s mother had previously given birth to two healthy baby goat.
An article by Sophie Williams for Mail Online said that breeders from the forest farm in Xinping Yi Dai Autonomous County, in southwest China’s Yunnan Province, were all shocked to see the deformed goat, and were more surprised to see the goat walking with only two legs within a week of its birth.
The owner of the goat said the young animal learned how to perfectly balance itself and stand on its two front legs as if unfazed of the disadvantages of not having the hind legs.
The animal can be seen happily hopping around the farm using its two front legs, traveling with its herd and grazing on the same foods given to the rest of the herd.
