Ten years ago, fans said goodbye to the top-rating superhero-themed teleserye, Super Inggo. The series ran from August 2006 to February 2007. For its initial run, the fantaserye completed 120 episodes. The show was nominated for an international Emmy award for the "Children and Young People Category" in 2007.
Many Filipinos got hooked on the show from the Kapamilya Network. The show became so popular in the late 2000s that ABS-CBN had to come out with a couple of spin-offs; 'Super Inggo 1.5: Ang Bagong Bangis' (that served as a kind of prequel to the superserye/fantaserye) in 2008 and 'Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa' (an animated sequel released in 2009). A director's cut version of the original series was also aired by the network in 2008.
Now, 10 years after the show ended, people are probably wondering what became of the young and talented actor who played the lead role in the series.
"Where is Super Inggo now, and what has he been up to", you might ask.
Well, for starters, Makisig Morales, the kid who became famous for playing the title role in 'Super Inggo' is (obviously) all grown up now.
Makisig is now 20 years old and he seems to have taken a break from acting in teleseryes.
However, it looks like his career as a singer may just get a big boost in the near future. Makisig has been very active online lately, posting regular updates on his YouTube account. And he seems to be getting more and more fans with every new update.
Lately, he has been busy doing covers of popular songs. Each cover showcases the singer-actor's remarkable voice range.
His latest cover may be his best yet, according to some fans.
On February 16, 2017, Makisig uploaded his version of the popular Bruno Mars song, 'Versace on the Floor'. The video caught the attention of netizens and went viral.
As of this writing, the video has garnered 265, 663 views.
Fans have noted how Makisig's voice has gotten even better over the years.
One commenter even suggested that the singer should be made a regular performer in ABS-CBN's Sunday variety show, 'ASAP', soon.

Maybe it's time for Makisig to work on a new album?
