Maintaining an honest living in a cutthroat world is very difficult. We have to admit that not all people carry good intentions and when push comes to shove, desperation or ambition will drive them to commit wrong actions. But take the unusual experience of Apollo Apollinaire, owner of African and Caribbean restaurant Kilimandjaro who had an experience with customers who dined and did not even bother to pay. Although the bill wasn’t too high, Apollo used the experience to remind his staff about the things that could happen in their business. It was an envelope from the three customers who supposedly left without paying. Inside the envelope was the money they owed and an apology letter explaining what had happened. The three men were planning to pay the bill but it turned out that the restaurant wasn’t accepting credit cards. So they went to a nearby ATM to get some cash and that was when they found out that the last train back at their place was boarding.
