Dan Good for <a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nurse-surrenders-license-photographing-patient-penis-article-1.2580259">New York Daily News</a> published an article on March 29 which identified the nurse as 27-year-old Kristen Johnson from Fulton, who took photos of a patient at Upstate University Hospital while working there in 2014. On August 2014, Johnson used her phone to photograph an incapacitated male patient’s genitals. Upon checking and seizing Johnson’s personal belongings, police found the photo and the video of the patient in the nurse’s laptop. The nurse was then charged with two counts of felony second-degree unlawful surveillance, and one count of second-degree disseminating unlawful surveillance, a misdemeanor. An article by Jacob Pucci for <a href="http://www.syracuse.com/crime/index.ssf/2015/05/upstate_nurse_photographed_mans_genitals_videoed_nurse_cleaning_bloodclot_record.html">Syracuse.com</a> on May 26 last year said that the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office began investigating after the nurse’s co-workers complained that she captured images of two patients and sent them via text message. The state University Police at Upstate and Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick worked together to investigate the incident, which took nine months. On May 2015, authorities arrested Johnson and was arraigned in City Court and has since been released from the Onondaga County Justice Center. An article by Mary Bowerman for <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2016/03/29/nurse-pictures-patients-penis-surrenders-license/82373930/">USA Today</a> said that Johnson pleaded guilty in November 2015 to disseminating of unlawful surveillance photos.  The nurse felony charge was later reduced, and as part of the plea bargain, she was forced to give up her license. The nurse has also been required to spend three years on probation. License plate sheets stolen from LTO compound

Roberto Cabrera has asked the NBI and the QCPD to investigate the matter</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">LTO officials said that those who will sell or trade stolen plates will face criminal charges</li> </ul>The Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced that it has lost license plate sheets worth millions of pesos during a burglary incident inside the agency’s compound in East Avenue, Quezon City during the Holy Week break. In an article published by <a href="http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/560747/news/nation/license-plate-sheets-stolen-from-lto-compound-during-holy-week">GMA News Online</a> on March 29, 2016, it was disclosed that Assistant Secretary Roberto Cabrera, chief of the LTO, has already ordered an investigation on the matter with the assistance of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Quezon City Police District (QCPD). However, LTO spokesman Jason Salvador said that while they have pieces of information about the incident, the agency will not give speculations until the probe has been completed. “We do not want to speculate. Let us allow the authorities to do their job and let us wait for the result of the investigation before we give the full details,” Salvador said. Meanwhile, the public information officer also said that uniformed security personnel remain stationed in the LTO’s license plate plant and that the suspects could have passed through two gates. For the meantime, the LTO is asking the general public to report to the agency any instance of selling or trading of license plates by calling its hotline number at (02) 921-9071. <ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Columnist defends Manny Pacquiao</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">He says while society is now more tolerant of LGBT, it doesn’t mean they can impose their norms at will</li> <li style="text-align: justify;">He calls on them to stop flouting their homosexuality because it’s repulsive to the majority</li> </ul>MANILA, Philippines – “Please do not display your homosexuality like a badge of honor because it’s not.” Coming to the defense of Manny Pacquiao whom he said was just speaking his mind, columnist Ramon Tulfo reminded the LGBT community that although they live in a society more tolerant and understanding of their existence, that doesn’t give them the license to impose their norms on the majority of Filipinos who are heterosexual. “You cannot and should not impose your homosexual norms on a society which is still “primitive” by your standards,” he said on his column in the <a href="http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/765830/scared-to-speak-ones-mind">Philippine Daily Inquirer</a>. “If you can’t stand our primitive society that frowns upon same-sex marriage, you should migrate to the United States and Europe where most states now allow same-sex marriage.” As proof that society tolerates their existence but does not condone homosexuality, Tulfo pointed to the dismal performance of the Ang Ladlad party-list group in the elections. “The public loves gays because, well, they’re happy and gay. Gays make good entertainers and beauticians. Many of them are talented and intelligent. But has the LGBT party-list group ever won in any elections? No. Why? Because our society still can’t accept homosexuality as normal, pardon my saying so,” he said. The columnist also advised LGBTs to keep their intimate acts to themselves to avoid alienating the majority of Filipinos. “But being tolerant doesn’t mean our society encourages same-sex marriage or passionate kissing between two men or two women in the open. If most Filipinos are scandalized by straight couples kissing passionately in public, more so gay couples petting in public. They find the latter an abomination.
