The annual commemoration of the dead, or as people like to call it, Halloween, has slowly turned into an event that people look forward to so that they can wear costumes and give out candy to kids. This man took it to another level.
Kevin Judd and his family, from Riverside, California, showed off their house by decorating it with bright lights and colorful lanterns that were perfect for the Halloween season. Judd claims that he loves the Halloween season which is why he decided to do such a thing.
The family has been doing it every year ever since 2011, and recently just uploaded the 2016 version of their house with the same concept of making Halloween look pretty. The house now featured 2 projected screens where they showed clips of scary movies.
People came from all over just to see nearly 400,000 LEDs light up the home with pumpkin faces moving in sync with the music. The family does not charge for the show, but they do accept donations to benefit the Fire & Burn Foundation, a non-profit agency dedicated to reducing burn injuries and deaths.
Many people were impressed with his work, commenting on the video that they would love to be their neighbour just so they could watch the pretty lights. Some saw the economic side of the picture, expressing their concern over the family’s electricity bill.
