A new photo of the red planet emerged online and alien enthusiasts allegedly found a crucifix and ruins of a temple in it.
Jon Dean mentioned in his article for The Mirror published on March 2 that the suspected religious artifact was spotted by UFO hunters from France in the latest NASA photo.
The UFO hunters claimed that the image showing a rocky Martian landscape captures a partially concealed cross next to the ruins of a fallen temple. The photo was one of the images taken by Mars Curiosity Rover which is deployed in the red planet to take photos.
Scott C. Waring, a paranormal investigator, picked up on the incredible claim and posted the picture on his website.
“This is a very unusual find and probably a significant discovery for some readers here that are religious,” Waring said.
“The cross is sitting on the other side of the rock hill, so the bottom portion of it is not visible, but if the rover took the photo from the others side, I would be big money that this is a full-size cross,” the investigator added.

Waring described the ruined temple near the cross as having “ledges of a beautifully carved roof that has since caved in.” He also described the “archways carved in its top and three thin layered sections.”
An article by Cheyenne MacDonald for Mail Online published on March 1 said that Curiosity has been on Mars for more than three years and has sent several awesome selfies back to Earth.
Curiosity has been scooping and sieving samples of sand near Mount Sharp.
Because of the photos, scientists were able to confirm that billions of years ago, a crater next to the peak was filled with water.
Experts believe that the conditions back then could have allowed microbial life to flourish if it ever existed on Mars.
