- A tuxedo cat treats a baby boy like a real brother
- The cat named Panda hugs him from time to time even before he was born
- The adopted cat’s attachment to the mother has extended to the baby
How much does your pet loves you?
A woman was lucky enough to have a cat who loves not only her, but also her baby boy who wasn’t even born yet.
In an article written by Amy of Love Meow, it was disclosed that the cat named Panda is so close to the baby’s mother, Liel Ainmar Assayag.
“She bonded with me instantly! She sleeps with me, cuddles with me… Once I got pregnant she started following me around the house, tucking her head on my belly, purring,” she shared.
Later on, she just discovered that Panda also loves his baby so much; as it guards and hugs him even when he was still in her womb.
“She loved him and kept him safe for nine months inside, now she does the same on the outside! Unconditional love!” the cat owner said.
When the baby was born, Panda – who was the two and a half years old then – was a bit confused at first, but once she smelled him, she knew right away that it was the little brother she’d been snuggling with all along.
“Now, three months later, she jumps on the bed near him, smells him, sits next to him. You can clearly see she loves him from the beginning!” Liel continued.
Panda tucks her head on the baby; the same way she tucked her head on the belly.
“The cats are not allowed in the baby’s bed when the baby is in the crib, but every time I put the baby in the crib I can see lots of cat fur all over the bed – they were guarding the bed for him. They call me at night when the baby is crying, laying down beside him to keep him safe,” shared Liel.
To note, Panda is not the only cat in the house and most of them adore the little boy.
