Rumors are circulating that the King of Catwalk Sinon Loresca’s career will soon be over following the bar altercation that happened last December 30. This was his supposed punishment for beating up his personal assistant and getting physically aggressive with some friends whom he was partying with that night.
In a post by Drew Farhad Fernandez last December 30, he narrated how Sinon Loresca was an abusive person in real life. According to him, he and his partner were partying at a bar in Makati City with the celebrity when they witnessed something that turned them off.
Sinon allegedly pulled his assistant’s hair, smashed her face on the table, and hit her, to everyone’s horror. Drew’s partner immediately went to Sinon to tell him that what he did was not okay, and that he should apologize to his personal assistant or leave their table.
Sinon allegedly told him off and replied, “Why should I apologize to her, she is just my maid. I am a celebrity, I can do whatever I want and you cannot do anything about it.” He also refused to leave their table and became violent, attacking Drew’s partner, ‘pulling his shirt and scratching him deeply around his shoulders, neck and chest.’ After the altercation, security personnel escorted Sinon out of the bar.
Drew and his partner then went to a police station in Pasig City to file a report.
In another post, however, Sinon Loresca sent an apology to Drew and his partner via a 10-minute video on Facebook, explaining his side.
He denied that he hit his assistant nor became violent, insisting that the hitting part was just his way of showing his affection. He also said that playfully hitting and beating up someone was his way of being sweet or ‘malambing’, even with his family. Sinon also pleaded that there be no more fake stories about that night because they all enjoyed anyway.
When asked regarding hitting Drew’s partner, Sinon said that he merely could not contain his emotions anymore because he, too, was human.
Most netizens, however, expressed their disdain over the bar incident.
