In 2016, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) was included in the list of the world’s worst airports by “The Guide to Sleeping in Airports” travel website. In 2017, NAIA was finally excluded from the list. But if it was up to Kapamilya star Enchong Dee, the notorious Philippine airport might just make it back to that unenviable position.
Enchong Dee recently tweeted a video expressing his frustration over the lengthy lines at NAIA. The Kapamilya star published an Instagram story that was then shared as a video on Twitter. The video featured a scene from NAIA with text mentioning Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano. Enchong wrote:
“alanpetercayetano 2 lines for Philippines Passport holder…really? On the peak of travel season? Big change!”

Enchong also left a sarcastic note on his post which read:
“#AkoLangTo. Ibang klase ang pagbabago natin!”

In the caption, Enchong Dee stated that he feels sorry for the OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) and tourists who wanted to spend the New Year in the Philippines.
“Kawawa OFWs, returning residents, and our tourists… eto bungad ng bakasyon nila.”

However, it seems like not everyone was pleased with Enchong’s rant. Some netizens called him a “yellowtard” and accused him of no longer being famous or “laos.”
However, many netizens agreed with Enchong, saying they also experienced slow processing at NAIA. One netizen, for instance, commented:
“Totoo yang sinasabi ni enchong. Kakauwi ko lang din. More than 2 hours kaming pumila kse iilan lang ang windows sa immigration. Pagdating sa baggage claim siksikan din kse nag abot abot na ang arrival ng mga incoming flights.”

Another netizen said:
“Anong terminal? Experienced the same sa T2 kanina. Although 4 lines were alloted for Philippine passport holders, 2 lang may immigration officer.”
