This graduating student earned praises from among the netizens after proving that disabilities shouldn't be a hindrance in making your dreams come true.
Abdulaziz Dapilin, 20-year-old, suffers from Marfan syndrome, a condition where the body's connective tissue is affected. His right eye was gravely affected and went totally blind while his left eye is also semi-blind. It is a rare disorder which only affects 1 out of 5,000 people.
Despite these struggles, Dapilin, who hails from Lamitan City, Basilan, is finally graduating college in Western Mindano State University and with latin honors Cuma Laude, to be exact.
"Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Special Education SY 2016-2017, I praise Allah upon all conditions, for blessing me with a kind of disability that have caused encouragement and success rather than discouragement and failure," he shared in his Facebook account.
At first glance, he looks like a regular student but his struggles to get by are unimaginable. Good thig, he has this laptop with specialized apps which helps him with his needs in studying.
His dream is to help other students who also have special needs after passing the LET (Licensure Exam for Teachers) in September.
Many netizens lauded Dapilin for rising above his disabilities and inspiring everyone. His story already garnered 113 thousand reactions as of this writing.
