On January 7, comedian-actor-singer Vice Ganda posted on Twitter his praises for Awra Briguela’s impersonation in the pilot episode of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”.
Awra sang Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” while impersonating Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, the mother of boxing legend and congressman Manny Pacquiao.
Vice expressed the pride he felt for helping the young star achieve his success. In the Twitter post on his offical account, Vice called Awra his "anak" and showered him with admiration. It shouldn't be surprising that Vice thinks so highly of Awra. After all, the Showtime host helped the younger comedian early on.
His career also took to greater heights when he starred alongside his idol Vice in the blockbuster movie “The Super Parental Guardians.” This is why Vice considers Awra to be his child as well.
The funny child-star has come a long way since his first viral video launched him into instant stardom. He has since been a part of the ABS-CBN family and currently stars in the very popular "Ang Probinsyano" series, alongside “The Super Parental Guardians” co-star Coco Martin.
