On a long list of why many drivers in the Philippines are annoying, one of the reasons at the top might be the use of unnecessarily bright high-beam lights by many inconsiderate drivers.
Aside from the fact that it is both annoying and irritating, it is also unsafe, as the bright glare may cause temporary blindness to a driver’s peripheral vision.
Apparently, this problem is widespread worldwide. Some ingenious car enthusiasts in China thought of a way to address the concern using spooky car decals that can only be seen when using headlights on full blast.
The scary decals feature images of ghosts and famous creepy characters from horror movies.
Although the idea seems to be useful, police authorities have warned against their use, claiming that the stickers may cause accidents.
If caught, fines would be imposed worth about ¥100, roughly Php 700.
The stickers themselves are worth ¥76 or about Php 550.
