Muhammad Ali died at the age of 74 after almost three decades of fighting against Parkinson’s disease. Muhammad was a well-known boxer who proclaimed himself The Greatest, who won three times heavyweight champion on his time.
He was hospitalized this week due to respiratory ailment which is one of the complications of his disease. His family’s figurehead said that he was in a fair condition, however the news about his death made everyone, especially in the boxing industry, sad.
TRIVIA: In his third and final match with Joe Frazier at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines, Ali won by a Technical Knockout. It was on October 1, 1975 and called the event as Thrilla In Manila.
