- A Daniel “DJ” Padilla food art has gone viral on social media sites
- The Food art is made up of spaghetti noodles and ketsup
- Artwork traced back to sixteen-year-old artist Andre Manguba
“I’m not a fan of Daniel Padilla, pero ang galing kasi nung artist! [but the artist is so good]“ — so goes one sharer of a viral food art which shows an image of the hugely popular 20-year-old Filipino actor and recording artist who’s a talent of ABS-CBN and Star Magic and was chosen as one of the Original Pilipino Music Junior Ambassadors in promoting local music to the Filipino youth.
Fans and supporters of the Pangako Sa ‘Yo star, however, find the artwork so impressive, as it had captured Daniel’s good looks.
“Ipapa-frame na ba ito? HAHAHAHAHA gwapo niya pa rin kahit sa spaghetti siya,” says one commenter – echoing the reactions of some other fans. [Ready to be framed? (laughs) still so handsome even as spaghetti]
Viral Food Art
The art being referred to by many sharers who reacted positively to the viral post points to a photo of DJ (nickname of matinee idol Daniel Padilla); a food art created by a young Filipino artist by the name of Andre Manguba using spaghetti noodles and ketchup as medium. He said he used barbeque sticks to control the ketchup instead of brush.
A photo of the creation, which had the caption “Did food art this time!! Daniel Padilla, drawn with ketchup and noodles haha. Hope you like it! #DanielPadilla #foodart”, was shared on Manguba’s Facebok account and garnered much praise.

But even before the artist of the food art posted it on his own Facebook wall, DJ’s spaghetti image was already spread out on Instagram and on Facebook via Nanette’s Pancit Malabon and Pancit Palabok page.
And of course, to match DF’s food art, Manguba also did a Katryn Bernardo.
Young Artist
Andre Manguba, it turns out, is a young budding artist – only 16 years old – with a huge passion and dedication to art; the proof of which can be viewed via his Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
He creates incredibly realistic portraits of celebrities and personalities, actors, singers and many more.
