A Filipina school teacher created some buzz in the social media community after one of her students posted videos of her.
According to the student who posted the video, the teacher sings before starting every class upon the request of the students. The EsP (Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao) teacher who was identified by some as Jho Anne Adlawan dazzled netizens with her great voice.
Four videos of her singing One Last Cry of Brian McKnight, Lay Me Down by Sam Smith, Pangarap Ko and Ibigin Ka by Regine Velasquez and her original song, Nakakabaliw, was posted on February 9.
'Nakakabaliw' is an original composition in collaboration with JRT Music, according to the student. The video has now garnered 1 million views on social media worth over 10,000 reactions.
Her 'Lay Me Down' rendition on the other hand has reached almost 330,000 views and 2,700 reactions.
The teacher's 'One Last Cry' cover has 125,000 views and 1,800 reactions.
And lastly, 'Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka' has 105,000 views and 2,100 reactions.
The videos on Facebook was showered with praises from netizens.
"Sana lahat ng teacher ganyan," said Jean Maverick Castillo.
"Wow ang galing ni maam, sana ganito din kabait mga ibang teachers," commented James Damaso.
"Iba na talaga mga estudyante ngayon noh? Haha ! Dati teacher ang nag papakanta sa mga estudyante , ngayon teacher na pinapakanta ng mga estudyante , dko alam kung pang uuto ba yon or sadyang gusto lng tlga nila . Anyways nice voice mam!" pointed out netizen Vince Lopez.
Her student responded to Lopez' comment:
"hindi po namin inuuto si ma'am jo ang samin lang nakaka bilib po kasi siya everytime na kumakanta siya. kaya after class niya samin hihirit po kami ng kahit 1 hanggang 2 kanta na kakantahin niya."
