It has been announced that Angel Locsin will no longer be able to do the part of the famous Pinay super heroine, Darna. She said on an interview that her doctor no longer permitted any extreme physical activities due to complications on her spinal cord. The announcement made by Angel and Star Cinema gained a lot of empathy from netizens.

Pokwang captioned a photo of Angel imitating a flying Darna pose “Kung totoo nga na hindi na ikaw ang gaganap na bilang Darna sobrang nakakalungkot para sakin ikaw ang forever na Darna pero mas importante ang kalusugan mo @therealangellocsin at kung sino man ang papalit sayo i'm sure alam naman ng management na deserving kung sino man sya, pero para sakin ikaw parin ang The Best Darna eveeerrrr......”
Pokwang has been a fan and a friend of Angel Locsin since their team up in the late ABS-CBN sitcom, Todamax.
