Yesterday, American celebrated the 15th year of one of the most devastating days in their history, the September 11, or more popularly known as the 9/11 attack. It was an almost normal day in America until several planes crashed in the infamous Twin Towers and bombed the Pentagon. News Media has captured how people jumps out of the towers just to survive from the collapse. It was indeed a horrifying day to all Americans.
No one had clues to what was happening except from they cannot contact their loved ones in the Twin Tower and the Pentagon. Children were confused as to why adults were crying. Media has also captured some heroic moments where brave ones try to save people distraught in the incident having to risk their own lives. Some would even march even in the brink of the Twin Towers collapse.
But just as when US grieves with the incident, nations all around the world expressed their support to them and some even sent help. But one of the most memorable act of love was from England.
For the first time, the Queen of England broke the protocol and expressed how England stands with the US in that time of grief. She ordered to have the National Anthem of US "The Star-Spangled Banner" to be played during the Changing of the Guard at the Buckingham Palace.
