The government's war against drugs is far from over as operations of the Philippine National Police still intensify. Recently, a clash between police and two alleged drug pushers with aliases 'Greggy' and JR' have been caught by the media. The said clash took place in Malate Manila where the two suspects were cornered in one of the streets after being caught in the act transacting illegal drugs.
They were chased by the police but the two suspects engaged in gun fight. After the noise, two of them were down. But just as the police thought that both of them were dead, one moved and raised hands as a sign of surrender. He even shared some details of the bloody encounter with the media. The alias 'JR' was immediately brought to the nearest hospital. He is to face several cases including illegal possession of firearms, and possession of illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, JR is still in the hospital recovering. Fortunately, he was only hit in his hand after the intense gunfight.
