A short video purportedly showing a ‘Satanic ritual’ involving a human sacrifice has been making the rounds on social media; spooking netizens for its chilling mystery.
The occult ritual reportedly took place inside CERN or the European Organization for Nuclear Research; a research organization that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world located in Geneva, Switzerland.
The video showed a group of people wearing flowing hooded black robes marching and gathering in front of a statue inside the grounds of the facility in the middle of the night.
The statue is said to be that of Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction.
In the clip, the group of around eight people can be seen forming a small circle before one of them is led into the center.
The ‘human sacrifice’ then removed the robe and can be clearly seen as a female wearing a white dress.
She then laid down on the ground before the ritual leader approaches holding what looks like a knife and started “stabbing” the woman before the clip cuts off.
However, CERN dismissed the ritual as a hoax staged by scientists working in the facility who are supposedly only “having fun”.
“Cern does not condone this type of spoof, which can give rise to misunderstandings about the scientific nature of our work,” CERN said in a statement.
They are also launching an investigation to determine who filmed the ‘Satanic ritual’ and uploaded the video on the internet.
“These scenes were filmed on our premises but without official permission or knowledge,” the statement added.
