Following Maine Mendoza’s month-long vacation to Miami, Florida, the Dubsmash Queen is finally back on TV just in time for her on-screen partner Alden Richards’s birthday! Alden, who turned 26 on January 2, held his birthday celebration at his own restaurant, Concha’s Garden Café in Tomas Morato. In attendance were some of his closest friends from the showbiz industry as well as his family and non-showbiz friends. It was Maine’s attendance, however, that everyone was giddy about.
In a photo posted by “Imagine Me and You” director Mike Tuviera, the birthday boy can be seen smiling for the camera together with his friends and Maine. Direk Mike shared his message for Alden:
“Celebrating with the Birthday Boy. Happy Birthday, Faulkerson. May 2018 be an even more blessed year for you! @aldenrichards02”
Out of excitement, other guests shared stolen photos and videos of the AlDub love team as well. One of them posted a video of Maine giving Alden a kiss on the cheek which made the crowd go wild. The caption read:
“Sandali lang naman!!@ kingamerss to eh..un MaiChard [heart emoji] ko biglang kinikilig eh”
Another posted a stolen photo of Maine while she was laughing and looking at Alden, describing how happy the Dubsmash Queen looked:
“Happy kayo no? Mas maganda talaga pag walang camera! ???? Its been 1 Month Ate girl! Happy to see you again. Don’t lose that smile again, My dear. ???? #AldenRichardsAt26”
Maine made her return to “Eat Bulaga” on January 1, 2018, after her month-long hiatus from showbiz. The hashtags “WelcomeBack MAINE” and “AldenRichardsat26” were trending on Twitter on January 1 and 2, with eager fans obviously happy to have AlDub back.
We can recall that Maine Mendoza published an open letter to her fans via her blog on November 26, 2017, asking them to give her back her freedom. She then went on a much-needed vacation to Miami with her family to take a break.
