Recently a video went viral featuring an American soldier preparing to surprise his family after being released early from his assignment in Afghanistan. Try not to shed a tear when you look at his wife and kids’ reactions, when they realize who this man wearing a scuba outfit was.
Bethany Bronson was spending a nice day out on the beach with her two kids and a few other people. One of her companions then started to take a video of her and the kids, saying he was going to send the recording Bethany’s husband.

The man taking the video started asking the kids and Bethany for messages dedicated to the soldier.
“I love and miss you,” said Bethany.
“That’s it?” responded the man, determined to elicit more.
“I want your body,” the wife playfully replied.

At that moment, a man in full scuba suit emerged from the water, right behind Bethany and one of her kids. Bethany and her kids’ reactions were priceless when they realized it was actually the family man in the diving suit.
“Are you freaking kidding me?” Bethany exclaims.

“After being in Afghanistan for 6 months and 3 months of training in the States before that with only a short month home in between, he is finally home!”
