Jessy Mendiola gets freehand mermaid tattoo on her arm

The latest additional was Jessy Mendiola. Recenty, the 25-year-old actress reportedly got an arm tattoo of a mermaid.

In an Insta Scoop of Fashion Pulis, the “Maria Mercedes” star showed off the artistic mermaid tattoo on her Instagram stories. Written across the snapshot were the words “Thank you @curiouswiji [sic]”.

The ever-supportive boyfriend of Jessy, TV host Luis Manzano, also took to social media with a photo of his all-smiles sweetheart and the tattoo artist during the session.

Wiji Lacsamana, the tattooist known for her aesthetically pleasing artworks, shared her recent work on the celebrity client on her Instagram account.

The new ink was well received by some netizens. A follower even claimed it to be one of Wiji’s best yet. Another also noticed how the shade of the tattoo complemented Jessy’s skin tone.

However, some beg to disagree. A commentator from Fashion Pulis said that the tattoo resembled a tadpole rather than a mermaid. Some stated that the ink was a “poor color choice and messy shading”. Almost all in the comment section thought that it was a bad move by Jessy.

All things considered, this was one for the books for the actress, regardless of the impression it left on the netizens.
