Policewoman from Davao is the only female to sign up for SWAT training

DAVAO CITY, Philippines— At first glance, this woman might seem like your typical Instagram model, but there’s more than meets the eye. Who would have thought that this gorgeous woman is currently serving our country as a policewoman? Meet PO3 Minerva Ramos, the stunning woman in uniform who works for the Philippine National Police (PNP).

PO3 Ramos works in PRO 11 situated in Davao City. Earlier this month, she went viral on social media after being the only policewoman to willingly sign up for the arduous Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). According to a report recently published in Definitely Filipino, PO3 Ramos signed up for the training as part of PNP S.W.A.T. CL-39-2017 “Alakdan.”

Police officers who wish to join the elites in SWAT have to undergo a grueling train before being admitted. The arduous training includes courses such as “Fundamentals of Marksmanship”, “Close Quarter Maneuver”, “Introduction to Crisis Management”, “Mission Planning” and “Field Exercise,” as per Danified.

That being said, an individual should be ready before undergoing this physically demanding and mentally draining types of training. Not all police officers are ready for this, but PO3 Ramos shows us that she’s ready to take the challenge.
