Max Collins reveals why she and husband Pancho Magno are not yet living together

GMA 7 artists Max Collins and Pancho Magno finally tied the knot in a beautiful Christian wedding ceremony at the Marriott Hotel last December 11, after being engaged for a couple of months. The couple’s family and closest friends from the local showbiz industry bore witness to the emotional exchanging of vows between the celebrity couple.

Despite the wedding high, Max and Pancho are not yet living together under the same roof, based on the report of entertainment website PEP.

According to Max, they were not able to fix their home since the newlyweds had to immediately get back to their respective showbiz commitments. As of the moment, Max still lives with her brother while Pancho stays in his mother’s house.

Since there will be no taping for the drama series “Haplos” on December 23, Pancho will be able to bring some of this belongings to Max’s home. According to said report, this is where the newlyweds are set to stay until they’re able to purchase their own house.

Since Max and Pancho are not yet officially living together, the actress revealed that they are not yet in the so-called adjustment period as husband and wife.

One PEP writer pointed out the irony of how some unmarried celebrity couples are already living together, while newlyweds Max and Pancho are still looking for their own place to stay.

Perhaps it’s not surprising that Max and Pancho chose to maintain a wholesome image on their low-key relationship of four years. Back in September, Max revealed that she and her now-husband wanted to ‘save’ themselves for marriage, primarily because of their faith as devout Christians.

In fact, the 25-year-old had nagging doubts on settling down at a young age – even if Pancho was already 30 years old. Moreover, the beautiful actress didn’t exactly see herself ending up with Pancho, whom she called as her polar opposite during a previous Facebook Live session.

Taking a cue from the pastors she saw in the church, Max also opened up about her dream of having a Christian family with Pancho, “So yun ang dream namin—maging happy Christian family—dun namin nakita na deeper na nga ang relationship namin.”

But it looked like the biggest change of living together might be put on hold – until Max and Pancho continue the search for their home sweet home.
