This young boy and his baby brother touched the hearts of many netizens and moved many to action when they found out about their difficult situation.

Shyla Mie Blasico, a grade school adviser and teacher of Mateo Bano, posted a picture of him carrying his little brother Jericho while he was studying in school.
Blasico explained that the young boy had to bring his baby brother to school because no one was left in their house as their father had to work long hours to provide for their basic needs and their mother died of ectopic pregnancy.
“Isa to sa mga pupil nmin... His mother pass away last year due to ectopic pregnancy. Dhil walang mag-aalaga sa kapatid nya dinadala nya nalang ito sa klase para d mka absent..,” Blasico said in her Facebook post. The post reached ABS-CBN News and was featured on TV Patrol.
The father, Matt Bano, admitted that he could not always be there for his three boys because he had to work a lot of jobs just so he can feed them and give their needs. However, he was confident to say that he has taught his sons well as they already know how to be responsible boys even at such a young age.
The Facebook post made by Mateo’s adviser reached over 36 thousand likes and more than 9 thousand shares. People from all over the world showed support for the tightly-knit and enduring family.
